How bad is duplicate content for your website?
Duplicate content is content that is used on more than one webpage, or website. Why is this a bad idea? Well one of the main reasons is search engines do not want to index the same content that is already held somewhere else. If a search engine comes across content that it already has then it makes a decision of which version to index. This means that there is a chance of your website not being used in its index, or your website rank suffering as the search engine can view duplicate content as copying other websites. If you need content for your website then don't use content from other websites. Use your own, or pay someone for to write new content.Did you enjoy this post?
